Farhana Maqsood, an actor, a singer, a poet and a lyricist, started her career as a Child Singer at the age of eight by making her first appearance in the famous PTV musical "Aangan Aangan Taray" which won her a reputation as a keen upcoming Star within the industry and got her public recognition as a young talented artist. Till the age of fourteen, she sang title songs for many TV dramas including "Raahain" and "Ashiyana".

Farhana debut in her first TV drama "Bulandi" aired on PTV which brought her rapid fame all over the Globe. Later she played many challenging roles and was recognized by the Industry as an A+ Artist. Her famous TV dramas include "Beti", "Sassi", "Dil se Dil Tak", "December", "Chhat" and "Tum Bhi Kaho".

Farhana worked in the first Indo-Pak soap drama "Kaajal". Working with Indian artists gained Farhana more fame and appeal as an International artist.

During this tenure, Farhana got to work with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in his first TV Drama composition for GEO TV drama serial "Kinara".

Further, jo chaley tou jaan se guzargye, Maya and Farhana Maqsood productions Kamli gained popularity.

Popular TV soap drama 'Love life aur Lahore' aired on APlus, starring Farhana Maqsood gained much popularity in which Farhana played the role of Tooba Saleem which is fondly remembered by her fans even today.

Farhana's Humanitarian endeavors manifested in Pakistan's largest reality show 'Haan Qabool Hai'. The programme was aired on APlus & ATV, in which 150 girls from deserving families were helped and were provided with complete arrangements for their weddings free of cost.

Her keen involvement with other charity causes include "Flood Campaign" (Lahore), "Live World Charity" for the orphans and blind (for Prime TV UK). The show was recorded in Pakistan and aired live Globally.

Farhana played an important character in the film "Main hon Shahid Afridi" which became an instant Super Hit Film and played a role in the revival of the, then crumbling film industry of Pakistan. She came to be known as Good-Luck for the Film Industry and has been working on various Film projects since.

The musician in Farhana has always flourished which is reflected in the World Wide popularity of the romantic medley she sang with SarmadQadeer. The song won Farhana the same International popularity in singing as she acquired in her acting career, and came to be known as the "Pakistani Medley Queen! Many of Farhana's songs sought public appeal, including "Maa" in which she shared her personal grief with her fans. This song was dedicated to her own deceased mother and to all who had lost their mother and were in mourning. Her song "Laa Makaan" was an expression of love and appealed to all lovers worldwide. The song "AaJaa Sajna" won Farhana her identity as an Artist with International Appeal.

By appearing in the popular Drama "Baaghi" she again proved to her fans that her acting career was just as alive as her singing! Farhana wins the Hearts of all her Fans all over the World and her Star shines brighter with every new performance!

Zulfiqar Ali

Director and Producer Zulfiqar Ali started his career in 1982 as an assistant to Mr. Nazarul Islam. He worked with Mr. Nazar for over a decade and did many films with him. In 1993 the assistant turned into a full-fledged director when he did the first private production for PTV, the famous drama series ZAROORAT (by Munoo Bhai). Most of his plays have been termed as the revival of the classical plays that PTV had in the 80's. His play ASHIYANA brought a fresh look to the otherwise stale productions with new ideas and family oriented plays. His play BULANDI was also a revival of classical plays. His play SAWAN broke the record of popularity all over Pakistan.

Over past 20 years he has worked as producer / director and editor for many TV dramas, films and documentaries such as SASSI, DECEMBER and many others. Both of these plays, won "Best Play Of The Year" awards. He also has the unique honour of directing the longest soap play of Pakistan i.e., TERAY PEHLU MEIN on GEO TV with 1000 episodes. He has also directed many plays which have won viewers' hearts. One of the more famous was LOVE, LIFE AUR LAHORE on A-PLUS TV which depicted the rich culture of interior Lahore. A truly hardworking, dedicated and friendly person, Zulfiqar's home is where the production is.
